One of the cool things about waking up early to investigate the surf situation is that you're often rewarded with really awesome sunrises like this one. Unfortunately this day didn't come together as far as shooting went, but its always nice to wake up early to clean crisp air.

Photo I took last winter when the swell seemed to evade me. During this last week I had some ridiculous battles with the fog, missing the only morning the sun broke through before the daily grind from 9am-6pm.

The Search for Motivation

Recently I've been having a hard time motivating myself to shoot.Trying to make a step in the right direction I forced myself to go out in my trunks today to shoot some buddy's repn some prone action.Stoked i finally got back in the water. Damn I forgot how good it fuckn feels. MMMMmm
